My Approach

I combine traditional medicine with a whole-person, prevention-first approach. My goal is to help you feel your best today while reducing your risk of future illness. I welcome any health-related question or idea — nothing is off-limits, and I’m happy to explore your research, concerns, or goals with you.

Common Focus Areas

  • Perimenopause & menopause care — symptom management, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and lifestyle support

  • Men’s health & andropause care — testosterone and other hormone optimization

  • Aggressive prevention — advanced imaging, lab testing, and starting treatment earlier than traditional cutoffs when safe and evidence-based

  • Metabolic health — weight management, insulin resistance, and prediabetes screening

  • Longevity & wellness optimization — nutrition, supplements, sleep, and exercise plans tailored to you

How We Can Work Together

Whether you want a one-time visit for a specific concern or a long-term partner in your health, I offer three flexible options. Most patients start with the Initial Comprehensive Consultation for a deep dive, but Quick Consults are also available without a first visit. Serving Virginia-Highland, Inman Park, Decatur, and the greater Atlanta area.

$75-$250

Quick Consults are short, targeted appointments designed to address straightforward, single-issue concerns. These visits are ideal if you're not ready to commit to ongoing care but need expert guidance on a specific problem.

Examples of appropriate concerns for a Quick Consult include prescription refills, UTI symptoms, hair loss, lab result interpretation, fever, questions about hormone replacement therapy (HRT), or a second opinion on a treatment plan.

Depending on the complexity of your concern, Quick Consults are offered in 15-60 minute formats. You’ll receive a recommended visit length and pricing based on your answers to a brief triage tool at booking.

Visits are available virtually or in-person, depending on the nature of the concern.

Quick Consults are not intended for full health evaluations, comprehensive care, or multiple concerns that require deeper investigation. If you’re interested in exploring your health more broadly or addressing complex or ongoing issues, you should schedule an Initial Comprehensive Consultation instead.

$515

A comprehensive office visit focused on your full health history, current symptoms, and long-term goals. Within a week of the visit, you’ll receive a detailed written health plan that includes a personalized diagnostic strategy (labs, imaging, or specialty testing), as well as initial treatment and lifestyle recommendations.

This visit is required before enrolling in the annual membership program.

If you’re seeking care for a single, straightforward issue (like a prescription refill, UTI symptoms, or hair loss), you may be better suited to a Quick Consult instead.

The $515 consultation fee is not refundable if you choose not to proceed with membership. Rarely, Dr. Van Curen may determine that the membership model is not the right fit for a patient’s needs. In these cases, a partial refund may be offered.

$180 per month

Following the initial consultation, eligible patients will be invited to join the Annual Health Plan. This plan is valid for 12 months from the date of enrollment and includes:

  • Three 30-minute telehealth check-in visits per year

  • Discounted Quick Consult Visits

  • Ongoing access to Dr. Van Curen between appointments

  • Regular review of lab and imaging results

  • Updates to your personalized health plan throughout the year

Labs, imaging, medications, and supplements are not included.

Prescribing guidelines: I do not prescribe opioids or benzodiazepines. Hormones are prescribed only after a minimum 30-minute consultation to fully discuss risks, benefits, and monitoring.
